Open source
Govern an agent on your own machine.
A public repository and a Developer Edition, so you can give an agent a badge, watch it get refused at the door, and read the record, without buying anything.
What we will release
- The SDK for connecting agents to Ares over A2A and MCP.
- Examples: an agent with a badge, a refusal at the door, a redaction on the way out.
- The Developer Edition: Ares on one machine for local development.
What it is not
- Not the hosted service, and not a production deployment.
- Not a stripped-down record you should trust with real data.
- Not a substitute for a security review. The trust page covers that.
Quick-start
The quick-start ships with the Developer Edition. It is written to take you from clone to a governed run in under fifteen minutes: start Ares locally, register an agent, give it a badge, and watch the first refusal land in the record.
Developer Edition
A single-machine Ares with the same door and the same record as production, sized for a laptop. When you are ready for real agents and real data, the same configuration moves to a tier on the Marketplace.
